Stroopies Staff

To the delight of our customers, our team currently makes approximately 10,000 Stroopies every week. We could not be more thankful to work alongside these amazing individuals, as they resettle in Lancaster from Myanmar, Congo and Syria.

Mary Myint

Mary is from Myanmar, where she was married in 2009. After her children were born in Malaysia, her family arrived in the USA in 2013. Since being hired in 2015, Mary has become an expert Stroopiemaker. “I like my job because my schedule is nice for my children. When we lived in Myanmar and Malaysia, we were scared of the police. In the USA all the people are equal, so my family loves the USA.”
